Joel is a Canadian Brooklyn-based photographer who admires the architecture, street culture, and miscellaneous objects that contribute to the city he lives in and the places he visits. He captures moments of life around him every day as he experiences and observes them and hasn't missed a single day of shooting since 2008.
Joel's photographs bring attention to the fleeting details and changing landscape of the city; to serial patterns he finds and unique moments that demonstrate the spirit of a particular place. His work has been featured in The Atlantic, Gothamist, Jezebel, Curbed, Brownstoner, and For the Love of Brooklyn, as well as in print for the GAP.
